This Advocacy Action Alert page has been created to give focus to a particular mental health care situation that may require interested parties to take immediate action effecting permanent change. This case came to light initially through reported instances of deaths, suicides (see also NCHS), and psychiatric survivors.

For further clarification of referenced instances, interested parties should seek comment from those interviewed within the included resources. It is also suggested that advocates research any and all published investigative-type reports that should be available through area-specific open records acts.
