About This Website

In its original draft that was conceived five years ago now, Six. Almost Seven.. was merely a wholly anonymouse place to vent in the way that writing is often prescribed as a constructive way to let off steam.. Since then, Six. Almost Seven.. has begun to evolve into something much larger, much, much further indepth..

In its original presence on the Web, Six. Almost Seven.. reflected this advocate/self-advocate/consumer survivor's frustration with the overall state of the public mental health care system in Georgia. SAS now provides possible resources and advocacy opportunity suggestions to persons of all disabilities, this being because disabilities all, at their core, bear some incredibly close similarities.. The accessibility of the Internet continues to nearly non-stop offer this author a release valve when the frustration of hitting meatspace brick walls gets to be too unbearable.

It is the wish of this website's creator that others know there are resources available allowing them to safely come forward in search of professional mental and/or other health care accountability. There are so many more national movements and growing than ever before to help those seeking disability advocacy involvement.

Additionally, it remains the deepest hopes of this website's creator that still others will see those same brick walls off in the distance and somehow manage to stave them off at the pass before more patients lose their very lives through the unconscionable mismanagement of consumer mental health care.

WARNING/DISCLAIMER: At no time and under no circumstances is this website to be taken as a substitute for professional advice. It is solely being presented as the personal experiences of one particular consumer survivor currently residing in the northwest mountains of Georgia, City of Talking Rock (Jasper), Pickens County.
